Bojan Vasić reads poems from his book “Detroit”

Bojan Vasić was born in 1985 in Banatsko Novo Selo in Serbia. He published following books of poetry: Srča (2009), Tomato (2011), Ictus (2012), 13 (2013) and Detroit (2014). Together with Tamara Šuškić, Uroš Kotlajić, Goran Korunović and Vladimir Tabašević he is a member of a poetry group which publishes samizdat books (Edition Caché).

Subversive Art Practices

When do ethics become more important than aesthetics? How to believe in a utopia that art can heal and change the world? Can a cooperative movement save the world from a disaster? These are the questions with which a group of artists have been grappling for over 20 years, resisting the political and social environment in Serbia by way of subversive artistic practices.
