of Milutin Mitrović, economist who lives in Trieste, former editor-in-chief of the journal Ekonomska politika in Belgrad, associate of many economic journals in Italy and Switzerland.

In cooperation with ISH, Ljubljana Graduate School of the Humanities, Serbian Cultural Centre organized a lecture:

TRAIN AS A MOTIVE IN DANILO KIŠ’S POETRY

prof. Dr. Marija Mitrović is historian of literature, translator, co-founders and editor of scientific journals Literature and Art. She taught Slovene literature at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade, and during the war she moved to Trieste where she works at the University of Trieste. She has published a history of Slovenian literature, first in Serbian (1995), followed by the German (2001), a series of articles and a book on Serbian presence in Trieste, as well as studies of Slovenian literature. She has translated more than 20 books from Slovenian into Serbian.
