School of Serbian language and culture

2010- 2012

Serbian Cultural Center Danilo Kis organized free additional lessons in Serbian language and culture at the premises of the Majda Vrhovnik Primary School and Livada Primary School in Ljubljana in the period from 2010 to 2012.

The main objective of the project, funded by the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Serbia, was to provide all interested young people, born in the diaspora, a contact with the Serbian language and culture, bring the warmth and beauty of Serbia and the Balkans closer to them, and at the same time, offer them practical knowledge and skills useful for their further education and future employment. In 2012, lessons were also taught in Postojna and Novo Mesto.

Additional lessons in Serbian language were taught according to the curriculum prescribed by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia.
