The cities, which share the joint history and a rich cultural exchange, were first visited by the author and caught in his camera lens in June 2010. We were interested in how \u201cthe third eye\u201c sees the rhythm of both cities, the image of urbanity, and, above all, the primary witness of contemporary history \u2013 human face.<\/p>\n<p>The photographs have been exhibited during 2010 and 2011 in the Tivoli park in Ljubljana and at the Kalemegdan fortress in Belgrade.<\/p>\n<p>Jim Sumkay is the world famous \u201canonymous\u201c Belgian photographer who documents the everyday life in black-and-white.
